AI could change economy, way of life in Azerbaijan, expert says

Artificial intelligence has the potential to dramatically change the way of life of Azerbaijani people and the national economy, said Vusal Gasimli, Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC).

He made the remarks during the presentation of the textbook InsurTech (Insurance Technologies)., which was prepared by CAERC in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President and the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Gasimli said that the rapid development of technology is affecting all sectors of the economy.

He noted that today the shift to so-called agent-based artificial intelligence is particularly noticeable, and it can change not only the tech sector but society as a whole and people’s way of life.

The head of CAERC emphasised that in the face of these large-scale transformations, it is impossible to remain on the sidelines. Therefore, it was decided to develop an AI textbook with the participation of relevant experts. “The goal is to combine theoretical knowledge and practice,” he added.
