Albanian deputy PM says Baku has become global platform for dialogue, ideas

Baku has become a global platform for dialogue and ideas under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Albania’s Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu has stated at the Leaders’ Summit of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Koçiu said Baku is not only a centre of energy connectivity, but also “a global platform for dialogue and ideas,” Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

She highlighted a series of international initiatives hosted or associated with the city, including the Baku Process, the Baku International Forum for Dialogue, COP29, the Baku Call for Climate Action for Peace and Recovery, the Baku Adaptation Roadmap, and the Baku Initiative on Human Development for Climate Resilience.

Through these platforms, she said, the city has become central to some of the most important global discussions on peace, climate, human development and resilience.
