Armenia, Greece, Cyprus hold joint special forces exercises PHOTO
Trilateral joint exercises of special forces and special operations forces of Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus took place from November 6 to 10 in the Nea Peramos area in Attica.
“From 6 to 10 November 2023, as part of planning for international cooperation, the armed forces took part in a trilateral joint training of special forces - special operations forces of Greece, Cyprus and Armenia, which took place in the vast territory of Nea Peramos, Attica,” the General Staff of National Defense of Greece wrote on the social network X, Caliber.Az reports.
“During the manoeuvres, rapid response live firing was carried out, techniques and tactics of sniper shooting, fighting in enclosed spaces, planning and conducting small-scale exercises were practised.
Joint training is part of the Joint Action Plan between Armenia, Greece and Cyprus for 2023,” the statement says.
