Armenia’s departure from Kremlin-dominant CSTO matter of time - pundit

“For Armenia, leaving the CSTO is only a matter of time, because in fact Armenia is no longer in the CSTO. Also, Armenia does not even have a permanent representative in the CSTO, and as far as I understand, we will not have one.”

Pundit David Stepanyan told the November 9-10 Brussels-held “Strategic Future of Armenia” conference, Caliber.Az reports.

“I will have to repeat again my long-standing thesis that the CSTO was and is initially a stillborn structure.

Fortunately, I see that our government seems to have taken a political line towards leaving the CSTO, and I hope that our membership in the organization will soon disappear forever,” the pundit said.
