03 September 2025 09:43
On the night of September 3, a drone crash near Kuteinikovo railway station in Russia’s Rostov region caused a temporary loss of power in the overhead contact line, leading to delays for 26 passenger trains.
Russian Railways (RZD) reported via its Telegram channel that power supply was promptly restored and no injuries were reported. As of 06:00 Moscow time, the maximum delay reached 4 hours and 15 minutes. All trains are continuing on their scheduled routes.
Railway authorities are working to minimise delays and ensure passenger services are restored as quickly as possible.
