Armenian PM, US Secretary of State discuss peace process with Azerbaijan, bilateral ties
The Armenian government has announced that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a phone talk to discuss key issues regarding the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as bilateral relations between Armenia and the US.
The central topic of the discussion was the current status of peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Pashinyan and Blinken exchanged views on the progress of the talks, including recent developments and prospects for achieving lasting peace in the region, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The previous phone talk between Pashinyan and Blinken was held in late April. During that discussion, the two sides addressed the process of delimiting the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, the issues related to the peace process between the two countries, and the agenda of the Armenia-US relations.
