AZAL starts operating flights to Samarkand

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has started operating flights to the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan.

According to APA-Economics, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan continue to actively work to expand the geography of flights between the countries amidst the intensification of political and economic ties.

Starting on October 4, the flag carrier of Azerbaijan, AZAL, enabled flights to another city of Uzbekistan - Samarkand.

Flights to Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world, will be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.
