Azerbaijan, ACWA Power discuss expanding renewable energy cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan has held talks with Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power on strengthening cooperation in renewable energy projects, the country’s energy minister has said on X.
According to Caliber.Az, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met Mohammed Abunayyan, Chairman of the Board of ACWA Power, to discuss the progress of joint initiatives.

The discussions focused on the completion of the Khizi–Absheron wind power plant, a flagship project with a planned capacity of 240 megawatts. The sides also explored opportunities to broaden cooperation in electricity generation and power transmission.
