Azerbaijan, ADB discuss expanding cooperation on transport sector

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev has held a meeting with Leah Gutierrez, the Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), during which the sides exchanged views on the development of long-term and strategic cooperation between the ADB and Azerbaijan.

Sharing a post on his official Facebook page, he said the meeting focused on major projects being implemented in the transport sector, Caliber.Az reports.

The sides also discussed planned projects in the railway, metro and aviation sectors, additional financing opportunities, and mechanisms to accelerate decision-making processes.

According to him, they also addressed prospects for expanding cooperation in digitalisation and sustainable development.
