Azerbaijan, ADB explore new cooperation in digitalization, green energy
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, has held talks with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) focused on economic diversification, private sector development, and ongoing reform efforts. The discussions also covered key areas of future cooperation, including digitalization, green energy, and regional connectivity initiatives.
Jabbarov shared details of his meeting with Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Leah Gutierrez, on his X social media account, Caliber.Az reports.
“We held a meeting with Leah Gutierrez, Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB_HQ).
During the meeting, we discussed the economic diversification of our country, support for the private sector and SMEs, and tax reforms.
We also exchanged views on promoting public-private partnerships, strengthening cooperation in digitalization and human capital development, regional initiatives, green energy corridors and connectivity, as well as other avenues for cooperation,” the post by the Azerbaijani minister reads.
