Economic cooperation in focus as Azerbaijan hosts Afghan deputy prime minister PHOTO
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar convened in Baku to discuss enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides underlined the significance of the upcoming 17th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit, scheduled to be held in Khankandi, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Since joining the ECO in 1992, Azerbaijan has actively engaged in advancing regional collaboration across various sectors.
The discussions centered on expanding bilateral interaction in economic, trade, transit, and humanitarian domains, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening ties. Additionally, the meeting addressed matters of mutual interest within the trilateral cooperation framework involving Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
