Azerbaijan, Asian Development Bank discuss socio-economic progress
Azerbaijan's socio-economic development priorities have been discussed between the Economy Ministry and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made the remarks on his Twitter account, Caliber.Az reports.
"During the meeting with Rachel Thompson, the Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank, representing the group of countries including Azerbaijan, we discussed Azerbaijan's socio-economic development priorities. We also reviewed the projects that have been implemented between our country and the Bank, as well as Azerbaijan's effective representation on the Bank's Board of Directors," he said.
The ADB–Azerbaijan partnership aims to support the private sector, realize green energy initiatives, raise public sector efficiency, improve infrastructure, and strengthen human capital.
ADB supports projects in developing member countries that create economic and development impact, delivered through both public and private sector operations, advisory services, and knowledge support.
