The new chair is Mammad Musayev, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan.
Participants of the Assembly congratulated Musayev and wished him success in his role.
The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States was established in May 2019 in Astana, Kazakhstan, with the support of employer organizations from member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). The union currently includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, with Hungary and Northern Cyprus holding observer status.
The Union’s mission is to promote regional trade by eliminating barriers to the exchange of goods and services among member states. It also aims to foster an attractive investment climate, encourage foreign investments, and support cooperation between Turkic nations. Additionally, the Union helps resolve commercial disputes among companies within its member states.
