Azerbaijan, Bahrain ink customs cooperation deal PHOTO

The Azerbaijani and Bahraini custom services have signed a memorandum of understanding.

A "Memorandum of Understanding between the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Customs Service of the Kingdom of Bahrain" was signed during the 87th session of the political commission of the World Customs Organisation held in Manama city, Bahrain, the State Customs Committee told Report.

The document was signed by First Deputy Chairman, Acting Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Shahin Baghirov and Bahrain Customs President Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The Memorandum of Understanding covers the issues of information exchange to improve the efficiency of customs procedures, the process of organising the working meetings, training courses, seminars in the field of customs, the fight against illegal trade, etc.
