Azerbaijan becomes member of international investment corporation PHOTO

At the 47th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), a resolution has been adopted on Azerbaijan's membership in the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), which is part of the IDB.

The Azerbaijani delegation headed by First Deputy Economy Minister Elnur Aliyev held a number of meetings within the framework of the meeting, including with IDB Vice President Mansur Mukhtar, Trend was told at Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry.

It was underlined that the parties exchanged views on cooperation in restoring the territories liberated from occupation, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, financing banks, energy and food security.

In addition, issues of creating a "green" and sustainable infrastructure, supporting human capital were discussed.

The parties also discussed export issues and further joint steps in this area.
