Azerbaijan, Belgium discuss cooperation in small and medium business spheres.

Azerbaijan’s Small and Medium Business Development Agency continues holding meetings with local and foreign entrepreneurs to expand ties and implement new business initiatives.

Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Orkhan Mammadov, met with Belgian ambassador to Azerbaijan Michel Peetermans on Friday, according to Trend.

The potential spheres of cooperation between the companies of the two countries, issues of expanding ties with the corresponding organizations of Belgium and the European Union in the field of small and medium business were reportedly discussed at the meeting.

According to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Belgium exceeded $19.8 million from January through March 2022, decreasing by 7.99 percent from $21.6 million compared to the same period of the last year.
