Azerbaijan boosts export, import of mineral fertilizers

In the first half of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 270,324.7 tons of mineral fertilizers, marking a 2.4-fold increase compared to the same period in 2023.

This significant rise also saw the total value of exported fertilizers surge by 64.2 per cent, reaching $52.63 million, Caliber.Az reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s import of mineral fertilizers during January to June amounted to 95,007.5 tons, an increase of 73.2 per cent. The value of these imports grew by 15.2 per cent, totaling $40.18 million.
