Azerbaijan, bp discuss expansion of joint social programmes PHOTO
Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anar Aliyev and bp Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye Giovanni Cristofoli have discussed expanding joint social initiatives, focusing on employment, inclusion and institutional development, according to the ministry.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed their existing cooperation and highlighted what they described as a successful partnership in delivering social projects, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry.
Among the key examples cited was a programme aimed at increasing the employment potential of people with disabilities, supporting their integration into the labour market and promoting inclusive employment practices.
The discussions also covered research into population trends and demographic developments, alongside measures to strengthen the ministry’s human resources capacity in these areas.
bp representatives reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting socially vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, as part of its broader social investment strategy in the region.
Both sides agreed to continue their cooperation and to explore new joint projects in the social sphere.
