Azerbaijan, Central Asia discuss maritime cargo handling with Pakistan

Ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries in Islamabad met with Pakistan’s Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, to discuss the development of maritime cargo movement and port logistics.

The parties addressed the expansion of cooperation in maritime transport and port logistics on both bilateral and multilateral levels, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Participants emphasised that strengthening collaboration in this area plays a key role in enhancing regional connectivity and sustainable economic growth.

Following the talks, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening the partnership and agreed to maintain regular contacts to explore ways to expand cooperation in transit and maritime transport among the countries of the region.
