Azerbaijan Central Bank, ADB discuss financial sector reforms Photo

Aliyar Mammadiyarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, met with Christine Engstrom, Director General of the Third Sectoral Department at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), to discuss ongoing cooperation and financial sector development initiatives.

The meeting focused on the current state of cooperation between the two institutions, reforms underway in Azerbaijan’s financial sector, and opportunities to expand collaboration in green financing, Caliber.Az reports. 

The parties also reviewed joint initiatives aimed at supporting the development of the country’s financial system and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation, including prospects for technical assistance programs.
