Azerbaijan Central Bank raises discount rate

The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has decided to raise the discount rate by 0.25 percentage points from 8.5% to 8.75%.

Report informs, citing the CBA, that the lower limit of the interest rate corridor was increased by 0.25 percentage points - from 6.75% to 7%, and the upper limit was increased by 0.25 percentage points - from 9.5% to 9.75%.
