Azerbaijan, China discuss expanding green cooperation
Azerbaijan and China have discussed expanding cooperation in green energy, as well as in the management of water and mineral resources, as part of a meeting between Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Yang Tianfu, President of PowerChina Resources Ltd.
In a post on X, Jabbarov said the sides focused on the progress of solar and wind power plant construction projects, participation in public-private partnership initiatives, Caliber.Az reports.
“Discussions focused on the progress of solar and wind power projects, opportunities for public-private partnerships, and potential cooperation in energy, watermanagement, and mineral resources,” he wrote.
During our meeting with Yang Tianfu, President of PowerChina Resources, we highlighted the priority areas of the #Azerbaijan – #China partnership in #greenenergy and prospects for developing joint initiatives.
