Azerbaijan, China align on wind energy cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijan explored cooperation opportunities on wind energy projects with China as part of its clean energy transition. 

During an official visit to China, Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Chen Qi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Windey Energy Technology Group Co., Ltd., one of China’s leading wind energy companies, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Shahbazov’s X post, the sides had a “productive discussion” focused on potential cooperation in wind energy projects.

Talks also covered the local production of wind power equipment and the development of infrastructure for energy transmission.

Windey Energy Technology Group is known for its advanced wind turbine technologies and has a growing presence in international markets.
