Azerbaijan, China explore new frontiers in economic cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has held a bilateral meeting with Ma Shiguang, Vice Governor of China’s Jiangsu Province, to strengthen trade and economic ties between the two sides.
The meeting underscored Azerbaijan’s strong commitment to enhancing its economic partnership with China, the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry told Caliber.Az.
Both sides emphasised the strategic significance of the Joint Statement on Establishment of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, signed earlier by the leaders of Azerbaijan and China, which lays the groundwork for a new phase of bilateral cooperation.
Jabbarov provided an overview of Azerbaijan’s favorable investment environment, highlighting the country’s openness to international business and the broad range of incentives available to foreign investors. He also spoke about major infrastructure and development projects being carried out in collaboration with global partners, and noted the growing potential for future cooperation.
The discussions focused on expanding collaboration across several strategic sectors, including trade, investment, green energy, high technology, petrochemicals, industrial localization, and transportation and transit.
