Azerbaijan, China eye high-tech projects as business ties expand

Azerbaijan and China have discussed opportunities to expand bilateral business ties and pursue joint projects, with a particular focus on technology, innovation and industrial cooperation.

Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X that he discussed the prospects with Ma Bing, Deputy General Manager of China’s Xinjiang Joinworld Co., Ltd., Caliber.Az reports.

The talks focused on diversifying business relations, introducing advanced technologies and innovative solutions, sharing expertise and promoting the exchange of know-how, according to Jabbarov.

The meeting comes as Azerbaijan and China seek to broaden economic cooperation and identify new areas for investment and joint business initiatives.

Founded in 1958 in Urumqi, Xinjiang Joinworld Co., Ltd. is a major global producer of aluminum and aluminum foil for the electronics industry.
