Azerbaijan, China to jointly produce high-tech energy equipment PHOTO

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of renewable energy with China's electrical engineering company TBEA Co., Ltd.

“We signed a Memorandum of Understanding on renewable energy during a meeting with the delegation led by Hu Nan, Board Member and President of International Business of TBEA Co., Ltd.,” Shahbazov said on social network X, per Caliber.Az.

“The agreement covers cooperation on the provision of ultra-high voltage DC and AC products, the production of high-tech energy equipment, the establishment of a data centre, and participation in regional green energy connectivity projects,” Shahbazov said.

TBEA Co., Ltd. formerly known as Tebian Electric Apparatus, is a Chinese manufacturer of power transformers and other electrical equipment, as well as a developer of power transmission projects. Along with competitors Tianwei Baobian Electric (TWBB) and XD Group, it is one of China's largest transformer manufacturers.
