Azerbaijan–China trade surges 30% in 2025

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and China reached $4.87 billion in the January–November period of 2025, marking a 30.2% increase year on year, according to data released by Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.

Azerbaijani exports to China rose more than fourfold, increasing 4.3 times to $84.36 million. As a result, China’s share in Azerbaijan’s total exports climbed to 0.34%, up from 0.07% during the same period in 2024, Caliber.Az reports. 

Imports from China also continued to grow strongly, rising 28.6% year on year to $4.79 billion. Chinese goods accounted for 19.65% of Azerbaijan’s total imports, compared with 17.69% a year earlier.
