Azerbaijan discusses private investment prospects with international finance officials
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, has held talks on advancing the Middle Corridor and Caspian crossings during a meeting with Wiebke Schloemer, the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Director for the Western Balkans and South Caucasus.
Nabiyev wrote on his Facebook page that the meeting also touched on expanding cooperation across key transport sectors, Caliber.Az reports.
According to him, detailed information about the activities and ongoing projects of the companies within AZCON Holding was provided during the meeting.
Nabiyev also noted that the sides discussed issues of mutual interest related to the development of the Middle Corridor and the Caspian crossings.
"We also exchanged views on potential partnership areas in public transport, air transport, AZAL, and the Baku Shipyard, as well as on the prospects of attracting private investors to these companies in the future,” he added.
