Azerbaijan, Dubai Port World discuss development of joint transport technologies

Azerbaijan and Dubai Port World are exploring new avenues of cooperation in the transit transport sector, according to Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport.

In a recent update on social media platform X, Nabiyev reported that discussions were held with Raj Jeet Singh Vallia, CEO of Dubai Port World, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.

The meeting focused on advancing joint transport technologies and addressing key issues relevant to optimizing the transit corridors that pass through Azerbaijan.

Nabiyev highlighted that the talks aim to enhance the efficiency of these transit routes, reflecting Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its role as a crucial hub in international transport networks.
