Azerbaijan, EBRD discuss expanding energy cooperation

A meeting with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held on June 21 at the Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) under the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was attended by Samir Akhundov, Chairman of the Board of AERA, Kamola Mahmudova, Head of the EBRD Resident Office in Azerbaijan, and other representatives of both structures, Report informs.

Akhundov highlighted the activities of AERA as part of the meeting, as well as spoke about the measures taken in the field of energy regulation in Azerbaijan.

For her part, Khamola Makhmudova spoke about the prospects for further cooperation in the energy sector given the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and the EBRD.
