Azerbaijan, EBRD eye deeper cooperation on green infrastructure PHOTO
Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), to discuss the implementation of environmentally sustainable, or “green,” development projects in the country.
The minister shared details of the engagement via a post on the social media platform X, highlighting the focus on cooperation in advancing green initiatives, Caliber.Az reports.

“Within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), we had the pleasure of meeting with Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the EBRD. We discussed the priority areas of our cooperation with the Bank, including the implementation of green energy and infrastructure projects. We also underscored the importance of enhancing joint efforts to support the transition to a sustainable economy,” Jabbarov noted in his post.
