Azerbaijan Entrepreneurship Development Fund becomes UN Global Compact member

The Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry has become a member of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact.

In this regard, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund held a meeting with a representative of the UN Global Compact, according to Report.

Chairman of the Management Board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund Osman Khaliyev said at the meeting that the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” and the holding of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan again draw attention to the consideration of environmental, social and governance aspects to create strategies and activity in environmental protection.
