Azerbaijan, Ethiopia explore new economic cooperation opportunities

A meeting between Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and an Ethiopian delegation led by Aklilu Tadesse, the State Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office of Ethiopia, focused on discussing the prospects for economic cooperation between the two nations.

The conversation focused on potential partnerships in key areas such as trade, investment, and green energy, Caliber.Az reports. 

Minister Jabbarov emphasized the importance of realizing the potential for economic interaction and highlighted the need for expanding the legal framework to support bilateral relations.

A significant step in this direction was identified as the organization of business events involving the business communities of both countries, and the exchange of expertise in areas of mutual interest.

Additionally, the parties explored the possibility of leveraging Azerbaijan's experience in industrial parks and discussed further collaboration between the business sectors of both nations.
