Azerbaijan expands cooperation with Turkmenistan in container transportation

ADY Konteyner LLC under Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) and Transport & Logistics Centre of Turkmenistan OJSC signed a memorandum of understanding in international container transportation sphere.

Report was told in Azerbaijan Railways that on May 4 the 2nd International Exhibition and Conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Mutual Relations and Development - 2023" completed its work in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

The event, which was attended by representatives of ADY Konteyner, focused on the new realities in the field of international transportation, the development of transport and transit corridors, as well as the digitalisation trends observed in the field of logistics, and innovative solutions applied.

It is reported that with the signing of the memorandum, an important contribution will be made to the efficient and fast organisation of container transportation in the Eurasian region.

Within the framework of the conference, the next meeting of the railway operators of the countries participating in the project of the international multimodal route CASCA + was held, and the prospects for the development of transit opportunities were discussed.
