Azerbaijan, Germany forge path for renewable energy collaboration

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Anar Akhundov, held talks with Nargis Wieck, executive director of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focusing on potential collaboration in renewable energy, according to the Ministry of Economy.

During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities in the sustainable industry, energy efficiency, industrial decarbonization, hydrogen technologies, innovative financial mechanisms, and renewable energy initiatives, Caliber.Az reports.

They also discussed potential investment prospects for German businesses in Azerbaijan and ways to expand institutional cooperation.
