Azerbaijan gets over 104 million tons of oil, 24 billion cubic meters of gas from Chirag platform

More than 104 million tons of oil have been extracted from the Chirag platform located on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) field block since its commissioning.

About 24 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from the platform during the reporting period, the Energy Ministry told APA.

"The total production volume from the platform for the first half of 2023 averaged 23,000 barrels per day," the ministry said.
