Azerbaijan, Greece discuss holding business forum in September
Azerbaijan and Greece have discussed plans to hold a bilateral business forum in September as part of a meeting between Yusif Abdullayev, executive director of the Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), and Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Maria Papakonstantinou.
According to AZPROMO, Abdullayev briefed the ambassador on the agency's activities and the current state of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Greece, Caliber.Az reports.
"In this context, the sides also discussed the organisation of a Greek-Azerbaijani business forum scheduled to take place in September this year. They exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation in tourism, agriculture, the food industry, artificial intelligence, digital technologies and green energy," the agency noted.
The meeting also included a presentation on the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, which is scheduled to be held in September. Participants highlighted the event's importance for strengthening ties with international partners.
