Organized annually with participation from over 60 countries, the fair serves as a premier platform for promoting bird-watching tourism globally.

The country's exhibition emphasized its diverse landscapes, including mountainous regions and water bodies, renowned for bird observation, Azerbaijan's State Tourism Agency told Caliber.Az.

Detailed presentations covered rare bird species indigenous to Azerbaijan, optimal seasons for bird watching, and the biodiversity found within its national parks.

The event also facilitated business-to-business (B2B) meetings, enhancing collaboration opportunities within the tourism sector. Azerbaijan's participation aimed to attract international interest and promote sustainable tourism practices in its natural habitats.
