Azerbaijan holds economic council meeting on agricultural sector development Photo
A meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council dedicated to the development of the agricultural sector was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting focused on a wide range of issues related to the sustainable development of agriculture, including increasing production, improving sector efficiency, and strengthening food security, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Participants also discussed expanding trade and exports of agricultural products, supporting employment in rural regions, and addressing other current challenges facing the sector.
A detailed report on the agenda was presented by Agriculture Minister Mejnun Mammadov. Members of the Economic Council and invited guests also exchanged views on the topics under consideration.
Following the discussions, a series of decisions aimed at advancing the development of the agricultural sector were adopted, and relevant government agencies were instructed to implement the agreed measures.
