Azerbaijan, IMF discuss multi-vector, effective partnership PHOTO

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission for Azerbaijan Anna Bordon.

A multi-vector and effective partnership between Azerbaijan and international financial institutions, the importance of developing ties for the widespread introduction of innovations in the country were emphasised at the meeting, Caliber.Az reports.

Bordon was informed about several spheres, including macroeconomic indicators and forecasts, prospects for the development of the energy sector, tax reforms being implemented in the country, and measures envisaged in this sphere.

The sides discussed the impact of global trends on economic processes, indicators, and goals for the development of the Azerbaijani economy, new spheres of cooperation, and other issues.
