Azerbaijan, IMF discuss technical assistance projects

Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Regional Centre for Capacity Development for Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Norbert Funke have discussed technical assistance projects.

The meeting focused on implementation of technical assistance projects implemented by the centre in Azerbaijan, including technical assistance projects on fiscal risk management, macrofiscal forecasting and modeling, improvement of budget legislation, Report informs, citing the Finance Ministry.

The parties also exchanged views on the current state and prospects of relations with the IMF.
