Azerbaijan increases imports of Turkish chemical products in early 2026
Azerbaijan imported chemical products worth $176.463 million from Türkiye in January–April this year, marking a 3.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to data cited by Turkish Exporters Assembly.
Exports of chemicals and related products from Türkiye to Azerbaijan reached $51.435 million in April alone, an 8.4% year-on-year increase, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Overall, Türkiye’s chemical exports rose by 4.5% in the first four months of the year to $10.84 billion, while April exports increased by 19.3% year-on-year to $3.114 billion.
The largest importers of Turkish chemical products during the period were Italy, with $667 million (up 4.5% year-on-year), Spain with $591 million (up 48.4%), and Romania with $531 million, which marked a 21.5% decline compared to the previous year.
