Azerbaijan increases revenues from electricity exports

AzerEnergy OJSC exported 3 billion 923 million kWh of electricity worth $379.3 million in January-November 2023, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan said.

According to official figures, this is 4.8 times more in quantity and 5.9 times more in value than in the same period last year, Report informs.

Electricity export revenues amounted to 1.2 per cent of Azerbaijan's total export revenues and 12.5 per cent of non-oil export revenues since the beginning of the year.
