Azerbaijan increases trade volume with Czech Republic in early 2025
Azerbaijan's trade relations with the Czech Republic have seen a significant boost in early 2025, with the volume of mutual trade for January and February reaching 234.91 million $.
This represents a 2.5-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
In 2024, the export of Azerbaijani goods to the Czech Republic amounted to 224.5 million $, marking a remarkable 2.7-fold growth. Exports now account for 4.71% of Azerbaijan’s total trade, a significant rise from the 1.74% recorded in January-February 2024.
Imports from the Czech Republic also saw an increase, rising by 15% to total 10.41 million $. However, the share of imports in Azerbaijan's total trade slightly decreased, reaching 0.25% compared to 0.37% in the same period last year.
