Azerbaijan, Indonesia strengthen ties with new public audit pact
During the 25th International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, a delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, met with representatives of Indonesia’s Audit Board to strengthen bilateral collaboration in public auditing.
The sides formalized the cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Caliber.Az reports.

“During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the institutions to strengthen cooperation in the field of public auditing. Following the signing ceremony, both sides discussed areas of collaboration and future joint action plans for implementing the memorandum,” the Chamber of Accounts noted.
Indonesia’s Audit Board Chairperson, Isma Yatun, highlighted the importance of regular dialogue to identify new areas for cooperation and extended an official invitation to Chairman Gulmammadov to visit Jakarta.
The Chamber of Accounts also noted that Indonesia’s Audit Board has been selected to host the next INTOSAI Congress and will preside over the organization from 2028 to 2031.
