Azerbaijan inks memorandum with Central Asia Fintech Association

Azerbaijan and the Central Asia Fintech Association have signed a memorandum of understanding during the 10th International Finance and Banking Summit in Baku.

The document was signed by Azer Akbarov, Chairman of the Fintech Association of Azerbaijan, and Otabek Nasyrov, Chairman of the Central Asia Fintech Association, according to local media.

The Central Asian Fintech Association (CAFA) is a regional nonprofit organisation headquartered in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation in the fintech sector across Central Asia.

CAFA aims to promote financial inclusion, enhance digital infrastructure, support favourable regulatory environments, and facilitate cross-border partnerships for fintech startups and sustainable economic modernisation.
