Azerbaijan, Italy eye stronger business partnerships in high-level talks
During his visit to Italy, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Italy's Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso have discussed strengthening business ties between the two countries.
The meeting revolved around enhancing the business partnership and fostering collaboration between Azerbaijani and Italian companies. Both ministers expressed interest in exploring new areas of cooperation aimed at boosting economic ties, Caliber.Az reports.
Earlier, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova held a meeting with the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy, Lorenzo Fontana, during her official visit to the Italian Republic. The discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations and their legislative bodies. Lorenzo Fontana warmly welcomed Sahiba Gafarova, expressing his belief that her visit would significantly contribute to the deepening and expansion of ties between the parliaments of Italy and Azerbaijan.
He highlighted the importance of relations with Azerbaijan for Italy and expressed satisfaction with the progress of these ties at both the intergovernmental and parliamentary levels. Fontana also underlined the significance of Azerbaijan’s relationship with the European Union and emphasized Italy's readiness to support the further development of these connections. He commended Azerbaijan’s growth as a stable and strong nation.
