Azerbaijan–Italy trade turnover exceeds $10.5 billion

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Italy reached $10.556 billion between January and October 2025, an increase of 10.3% compared with the same period last year, according to Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.

Exports from Azerbaijan to Italy rose by 11.2% over the ten months, totalling $10.148 billion. Italy accounted for 46.9% of Azerbaijan’s total exports, up from 40.14% in January–October 2024.

At the same time, imports from Italy to Azerbaijan fell by 7.9%, reaching $407.9 million. Italy’s share of Azerbaijan’s total imports stood at 2.12%, down from 2.66% a year earlier.

The figures underline Italy’s position as one of Azerbaijan’s largest trade partners, driven largely by energy exports.
