Azerbaijan-Italy trade volume soars by 24.6% in first two months of 2025
The mutual trade volume between Azerbaijan and Italy reached $2.28 billion from January through February 2025, marking a significant 24.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
According to data from Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee, the surge was largely driven by a sharp rise in exports, Caliber.Az reports.
Azerbaijan's exports to Italy grew by 24.6%, reaching $2.20 billion, representing 46.26% of the total trade volume. This marks a notable increase from the 37.02% share recorded in January-February 2024.
On the other hand, imports from Italy also saw an upward trend, rising by 24.9% to $73.5 million. However, the share of imports in the total trade volume declined slightly to 1.78%, down from 2.4% in the same period last year.
