Azerbaijan, Japan discuss implementation of joint projects

The implementation of joint projects with the companies operating in various spheres has been discussed during the visit of representatives of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) under the Economy Ministry to Japan.

“The views on the prospects for the development of mutual cooperation in trade and investments, and the implementation of joint projects were exchanged during the meetings with representatives of the Japanese H.I.S. Co. LTD, operating in tourism and energy, as well as KOIKE Corporation Limited, operating in packaging, logistics and tourism,” AZPROMO told Report.

The information on the favourable business and investment climate created in Azerbaijan, as well as on the economic potential of the Azerbaijani territories liberated from (Armenian) occupation was given, and issues of participation in international exhibitions in Japan were discussed at a meeting between representatives of the Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro) and AZPROMO.

AZPROMO representatives exchanged views on establishing bilateral cooperation and holding joint events at a meeting with the leadership of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
